Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Quote Guide (the “Service”), operated by Ingenuity Labs LLC (“we”, “us”), collects, uses, and shares information when you use our quoting assistant. It applies to the entire Service, including the web dashboard, the quote-generation API, and optional integrations such as Jobber.

• Account information: your email address and login credentials.
• Business configuration: your company profile, pricing rules, service categories, brand voice, and related settings you enter.
• Job content: job descriptions, photos you upload, job locations, and any customer details (such as a customer name) you include when creating a quote.
• Generated content: the quotes, tier ratings, and internal notes the Service produces for you, including revisions from follow-up messages.
• Integration credentials: when you connect a third-party platform such as Jobber, we store the access tokens needed to act on your behalf.
• Usage and technical data: standard logs such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps, collected by our hosting infrastructure.

• To generate quotes: your job descriptions, photos, location, and business configuration are sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) to produce quote drafts.
• To fetch live material pricing: when enabled, job location and material queries are used to search trusted supplier websites (e.g., Home Depot, Lowe's).
• To deliver quotes to platforms you connect: if you connect Jobber, we use your authorization to create or update clients and quotes in your Jobber account at your direction.
• To operate, secure, and improve the Service, and to communicate with you about it.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your content for advertising.

We share information only with the service providers needed to run the Service:

• OpenAI — processes job descriptions and photos to generate quotes.
• Supabase — hosts our database and authentication.
• Vercel — hosts the application and processes standard request logs.
• Stripe — processes subscription payments. Your card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.
• Jobber (optional) — receives the client and quote data you choose to send when you connect your Jobber account.

Each provider processes data under its own privacy and security terms. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or security of the Service and its users.

When you enter details about your own customers (such as names or job addresses), you are responsible for having a lawful basis to share that information with us. We process it only to provide the Service to you — generating quotes and, at your direction, sending them to platforms you connect.

We retain your account data, business configuration, and quote history while your account is active so the Service can function. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the address below, and we will delete it within a reasonable period except where retention is required by law. Disconnecting an integration revokes our stored tokens for that platform.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), scoped API credentials, and access controls on our infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
